I’ve got a few questions that need answering and I haven’t
heard anyone from the right coming up with answers – at least any answers that
make even a modicum of sense
- Why is President Obama’s religion such a big issue but nobody brings up the fact that Mitt belongs to a religion that is viewed by many as a cult? Why is it never mentioned that the stated intention of Joseph Smith, who ran for president in 1844, was to create a Theodemocracy which, of course, would be guided by the tenets of Mormonism? And does Mitt Romney subscribe to those views?
- Why is Obama STILL being asked to produce ‘a valid birth certificate’ while Mitt Romney’s supporters rail against him being asked to release his tax returns?
- Why is Obamacare so bad for the country when Romneycare is so good for Massachusetts?
- Why do Republicans accuse Obamacare of ‘death panels’ when time and again, GOP political figures state they don’t think people with cancer, with brain tumors, or who just can’t afford medical insurance should have access to life saving care?
- Why does the leadership of the GOP keep on saying that Obama has failed to create new jobs when they REFUSE to bring his bill to the floor? It’s been languishing since last October.
- Why does the GOP want to raise taxes on the already stressed middle class but lower taxes for the already rolling in moola rich people? How will that help?
- What makes the GOP think that rich people are ‘job creators’? If that is the case, we should be DROWNING in jobs after a decade of the Bush tax cuts. So where are those jobs?
- Why does the GOP insist there is no War On Women when they spend most of their time coming up with new and more onerous legislation to humiliate and impoverish them?
- Why are police, firefighters and teachers the enemy? What have they done that is so injurious to society?
- Why is science reviled in favor of fairy tales that state the earth is only 5,000 years old and people inhabited the planet alongside dinosaurs? Isn’t that the same as thinking the moon landing was faked?
Truthfully, I’m not holding my breath waiting for answers.
From where I sit, the GOP isn’t in the business of handing out answers. They
just hate Obama and will say and do ANYTHING they think will make people vote
against him (as opposed to actually voting FOR Romney).
Oh! I have one more question (at least for the time being).
- Why does the GOP think we’re all so stupid?
